- According to a new report, the UFC is putting together a middleweight championship bout between current title holder Anderson Silva and Vitor Belfort for UFC 108. The event is expected to be held on January 2nd in Las Vegas. Verbal agreements are in place, however the fight has yet to be made official. Silva has been UFC Middleweight Champion for three years, and is coming off his non-title victory over Forrest Griffin at UFC 101. Belfort made his return to the company with a first-round KO of former middleweight champ Rich Franklin last weekend at UFC 103.

- Dana White told the Los Angeles Times that Kimbo Slice will continue to fight for UFC after Ultimate Fighter. Most expect Kimbo to fight on the 12/5 UFC show in Las Vegas. According to White, Rashad Evans was impressed with Kimbo and wants him to train at Greg Jackson’s camp. Lorenzo Fertitta is also on record as saying he is impressed with Kimbo’s performances. Kimbo will fight Roy Nelson on next week’s episode of TUF on Spike.

  1. Jason Sipes says:

Mr.Dana White, when will we see Kimbo Slice face Forrest Griffin. We all know they both like to stand up and bang and this would be a great Main Card Pay Per View or Spike TV Main Card fight. Also put Anderson Silva vs Rashad Evan or Rampage Jackson many people think that fight with Griffin was staged.
